The good news is that several waves of rain are on the way this week.

Clouds will increase Monday with rain beginning Monday night. Waves of heavy rain and thunder will continue off and on through Thursday with good rainfall totals likely.

After a brief warmup to near 80 next weekend, a pre-Halloween front will bring temps to the 40s for highs!

Sunday, we will have many of the same conditions with less cloud cover. OKC's record for Sunday is 91, set just last year. The afternoon high will be very close to that temperature!

Look for clouds to increase Monday with widespread heavy rainfall Tuesday and Wednesday as the remnants from Hurricane Norma move toward Oklahoma.

Scattered storms will be possible Thursday and Friday before we dry out next weekend.

Right now, a strong cold front will bring temps in the 40s and 50s near Halloween with lows flirting with freezing!

Over the weekend, it will continue to slowly move north over Mexico and toward the U.S.

Tuesday, rain and storms will begin in western Oklahoma spreading east through the day. Rain will continue through early Thursday bringing the potential for a drought-helping 1-5"!

The storm is expected to weaken as it makes landfall over the weekend across the southern Baja. The moisture is swept up by the jet stream into Oklahoma next week!
